  • Identify management strategies for dyspnea that are evidence-based and have the potential to improve outcomes and quality of life for older patients with COPD.
  • Review inhaled medications used to treat COPD, with particular attention to common barriers to adherence and potential adverse effects among older patients.
  • Discuss the potential impact of specific treatments, including pulmonary rehabilitation and oxygen therapy, on mobility among older patients with COPD.
